Your Big UK Canoeing Adventure Begins here…
Paddle up to 125 miles by canoe, as you experience the thrill of navigating your way down Britain’s longest river. The Severn is the only river in England and Wales that you can do this distance as a self-guided adventure, suitable for all abilities.
It is a UK adventure like no other. You really won’t forget the variety of people you’ll meet, places to see and experience along the way.
You really can’t get closer to nature than this. Immerse yourself in ever-changing countryside where no two days are the same & explore timeless long stretches of the peaceful tranquil river.
You will find real peace and quiet, perfect for getting away from it all. Take a break on a beach riverside, enjoy a picnic & soak in the serenity.
Explore areas of outstanding natural beauty & see British wildlife up-close, from kingfishers & herons; to mink, otters, water voles & dragonflies.
You’ll also be free to visit the historic riverside towns & cities dotted along the trip – we’ll point you to the abundance of great food and interesting things to see & do.
You’ll take in spectacular local landmarks and paddle right underneath the world-famous bridge in the breath-taking Ironbridge Gorge.
This will be your unique trip, with the river in constant states of change. You can choose to take our Big Severn Adventure over five or seven days to journey the whole 125 miles or a shorter stretch with our Shropshire Specials over three or four days. Your choice of riverside accommodation from camping to delightful bed & breakfasts along the way.
Journeys are a minimum of two people. We provide you with the equipment, guidance and support making this a truly unforgettable & unique adventure. Suitable for all abilities.
