Naples, Marco Island & Everglades Adventure

Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Miami, collect your rental car and drive to Everglades City, approx. 80 miles

Everglades City and nearby Chokoloskee Island give visitors a glimpse into Southwest Florida's past, with museums and small-town charm, small locally operated shops and restaurants. Everglades City is a great base to discover the unique sub-tropical wilderness of Everglades National Park, as well as the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Big Cypress National Preserve, the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge, Picayune Strand State Forest, Collier-Seminole State Park and nearby Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. Discover Florida’s natural side with bird watching, other wildlife spotting, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, photography, fishing and boating. We would recommend doing a guided kayak tour as well as a thrilling airboat ride.

Stay two nights in Everglades City.

Day 3 - Drive to Naples, approx. 35 miles

Naples is well known for its beautiful white sand beaches, clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico and world-class golf courses, giving you plenty of opportunities to soak up some Florida sunshine and enjoy the outdoors. Whether it be kayaking, jet skiing, windsurfing, paragliding, paddle boarding, fishing, tennis or golf there is certainly plenty to keep you as busy as you want to be. If something more leisurely is your thing, then browse the boutiques and galleries of the sophisticated downtown area, with its tropically landscaped streets and avenues, dotted with sidewalk cafes and fine-dining restaurants.

Stay four nights in Naples.

Day 7 - Drive to Marco Island, approx. 20 miles

Marco Island is the largest of the Ten Thousand Islands, and home to some of the world's most beautiful beaches, with access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the mangrove-lined estuaries of the Ten Thousand Islands. Whether you’re staying at a tropical resort or a home-from-home vacation home or apartment, relax and enjoy the island life-style. From water sports and fishing to pampering spa treatments and designer shopping, Marco Island was made for holidays! Dominated by the water, boating is a way of life, fresh local seafood is in abundance and you’ll find an historic nautical community, funky fishing village, and hidden waterfront gems in the communities of Goodland and Isles of Capri.
